HCC Student Ministry Department

Hello Friends!

Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Melvin the Gnome. I love meeting students in their homes. Summertime is always busy and I know that teens from the HCC Student Ministry Department don’t always get to see each other as much...so I have been trying to keep everyone connected in a very special way.

Even though I will love hanging out with you and chillin’ at your crib, I’m on a mission to visit as many students as I can. But to help me remember where I’ve been, I am asking you to take a photo of us and email it to your Youth Minister, Josh Davis. He will post it on a special page on your teen website so we can share the experience with everyone! If you have a brother or sister in the Student Ministry, let’s all take our picture together.

So while we’re hanging out for the next few days, please take a cool picture of us doing something fun! Remember...I want to try visiting as many students as I can so please refrain from keeping me at your home for more than 48 hours. Oh!...and I want my arrival to be a surprise, so don’t tell anyone I’m coming! Just drop me off by their front door and I’ll patiently wait for them to invite me in!

OK, so here’s a reminder of what you should do:

• Let me hang with you...but not more than two days!
• Take a picture of us together
• Email the picture to Josh Davis (j.davis@heathchurchofchrist.com)
• Secretly drop me off on another student’s front porch
